Team Shark Attack is a team driven by technology. This is true in all ventures for this team so the FJ is no exception either inside or out. When Dallas and Bill came into Car Concepts, they wanted state of the art, brand new, cutting edge technology. So this is what we did...

We used Alpine's perfect F.I.T. (factory integration technology) V-hub pro to be the heart of this system. V-hub pro allows a user to interface any Alpine AI-net source and control it off of the ORB intelligent commander. The ORB is technology is also found in Audi and in BMW. The ORB may look like a volume knob, but can actually access any function or source that Alpine offers. Don't worry, if you get into the wrong menus the ORB lets you know by turning red. V-hub pro technology is the future of the car audio industry.
As if the v-hub pro isn't easy enough to control, we flushed an Alpine 7" touch screen in the dash in place of the factory radio. That's right! You can access any menu, function, or source via the touch screen in the dash. The screen acts as the system's display to confirm to the driver what the v-hub pro is doing. So they don't back into anything, we added a rear vision camera that automatically comes on when the car is put into reverse. The camera was flushed into the bumper to preserve the integrity of the vehicle. Parallel parking is now a breeze for Team Shark Attack.
To make driving easier, an Alpine DVD based navigation was added. Not only is this navigation three dimensional, is also gives the user Zagat Ratings and XM Traffic. Destinations can be selected by address, Points of Interest (POI), or by phone number. Team Shark Attack will have a hard time getting lost with this. Other music sources include XM Radio, AM/FM radio, DVD, and Full Speed iPod interface. The Full-speed interface allows the user to access any iPod menu by touch and charges the iPod as well. What about the people in the back seat or in the car behind the FJ you ask? A West Coast Custom 17" drop down screen was added to complete the video portion of this system. Why 17"? Because it is the BIGGEST and the BEST!
Now the audio portion of the FJ.
To make the FJ a rolling concert, an Alpine top of the line Type-X component speakers were added. These speakers absolutely scream while maintaining amazing sound quality. To compliment these speakers, Alpine's new super efficient PDX amplifiers were built into the cargo area. One amp for the mids & highs and the other for the subwoofer. Team Shark Attack needs all the cargo area for giveaways so a JBL GTO 10" dual voice coil subwoofer was fiber-glassed into the driver's side of the cargo area taking up almost no space and adding some serious boom to the system. To eliminate rattles, over thirty square feet of Dynamat was installed.
We also added a sunroof to keep Team Shark Attack tan and the inside of the FJ smelling fresh. Team Shark Attack looks and sounds great in this FJ.
