The dash of an Infinity G35 presents a special challenge in that the factory head unit shares the same circuit board as the climate controls. A special kit was located in Japan that allows for both a separate climate control board and an opening for an aftermarket CD player. Also, the factory navigation screen was utilized to adapt DVD video input. In addition to the new Alpine Head unit in the dash, Diamond Audio component speakers, 2 pair of Diamond 6" midrange speakers, 2 JL Audio 10w7 Subwoofers, Alpine CD and DVD changers, and JL audio 450wWatt and 1000 watt amplifiers complete what turned out to be a phenomenal sounding audio system.
